Delivery Costs
Delivery charges vary depending on the size, weight, and destination of your order. We strive to offer competitive shipping rates and will display the delivery cost at checkout before you confirm your order.
Dispatch and Delivery Times
- Order Cut-off Time: Orders placed before 12pm on a working day are aimed to be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched the next working day.
- Next Day Delivery: Available for most items, subject to stock availability. Please note, in rare instances, next-day delivery orders may need to be cancelled and refunded due to unforeseen stock issues.
- Exclusions: Delivery to Scottish Islands, Isles of Scilly, Jersey, and Guernsey may incur additional charges. Remote rural areas may have limited service availability.
- International Shipping: Currently, we do not offer shipping outside the United Kingdom. International orders will be automatically cancelled and refunded.
Delivery Requirements
- Delivery Area: We deliver to most UK postcodes, with certain restrictions. Unfortunately, we cannot leave items on public property without written consent from the relevant authority.
- Signature Requirement: All deliveries require a signature upon receipt. Arrangements can be made for goods to be left without a signature if agreed upon in advance with Builders Emporium. Please note, we cannot accept responsibility for goods lost or stolen once delivered according to your instructions.
- Kerbside Delivery: Please ensure there is safe access for our delivery vehicles to your address. Orders may be cancelled if access is deemed unsafe. All deliveries are made to the kerbside only.
Timber and Heavy Goods
- Delivery Service: Timber and other heavy goods are dispatched on a next working day basis, provided the order is placed before the cut-off time.
- Access Requirements: Please ensure your delivery location is accessible. If our couriers are unable to safely reach your address, we may not be able to complete the delivery.
Damaged or Faulty Items
- At Delivery: If you notice any damage to the item upon delivery, please either inform the driver directly or refuse the delivery. Accepting and signing for the delivery is an acknowledgment that you have received the goods in satisfactory condition.
- After Delivery: If you discover damage or a fault after delivery, please contact us immediately to arrange for a replacement or return.
